Oriented Strand Board (OSB)

OSB is Oriented Strand Board, is a board formed by wooden flakes, oriented in 3 layers perpendicular to each other, mixed with phenolic and polyurethane adhesives pressed at high temperature and pressure.

According different quality grade, include OSB2, OSB3, OSB4, Melamine OSB and Veneered OSB with different solid wood veneer.

Product description

OSB is a material with favorable mechanical properties, include with a small expansion coefficient, no distortion, good stability, uniform material and nail holding high performance.

The compressive strength of OSB is typically higher than that of plywood, and also can be easily cut/nailed/slotted etc. So make it particularly suitable for load-bearing applications in construction, for use in applications such as roof decking, flooring, wall sheathing, hoarding, packing, signboards and portable building, and making furniture.
